Ear Health:
EAR MITES (CANINE AND FELINE)
Ear mites are a common cause of ear problems in both dogs and cats.
Ear mites are highly contagious between dogs and cats, thus even if not exhibiting clinical signs, it is recommended that all animals in the household undergo treatment.1
Mite infestation often leads to a secondary bacterial or fungal infection, which may need to be addressed with topical medications and ear cleansers.
